Update 2/8/2007: Noggin has come to their senses and added the Steve and Steve Goundhog video to their own site. See it here.
Updated 2/6/2007: Evidently the folks at Viacom have decided that all the free advertising/buzz they are getting from having videos on YouTube is not worth what they are supposedly losing. So the groundhog video is gone. Sorry, readers!
Someone has finally posted the Steve Burns-Steven Drozd video from Jack's Big Music Show on YouTube. Yippee!! The more I see/hear this, the more I like it (my initial impressions can be found here). As kids' music videos go, this is one of the best I've seen, and I think it will turn out to be kind of a milestone in the evolution of kid-vid. Here it is -- "I Hog the Ground."

Annie has watched this no fewer than seven times in a row. She loves it! Personally, I like the "aaah" part. It rocks! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, this is way cuter than I would have expected! I can't wait to show the kids tonight. I guarantee the boys will flip over this.
I think my son will flip over this too. He's big into "rock n toll" these days, which means anything heavy on electric guitar. It was much better than I expected too. It's STEVE! Minus the stripes. And the hair.
Nice... I loved Burns' first CD, although I wish it hadn't sounded so much like a Flaming Lips album. Can't wait to hear how his career progresses.
LOVE the groundhog ears and the screaming guitar. Way fun! Oh, and I'm sure my kids will like it too :)
Maybe my son is the only one who was at all bothered by seeing Steve out of context. And Phil, I agree, it will be interesting to see where/how his career progresses.
i don't know about you but as a mom it is a huge turn on to see Steve rocking out!
he is so cute.
I am blog surfing to find mothers to contribute to a new e-magazine that I am developing called Mother to Mother. Go to http://www.motheroftwosguide.com/contribute.shtml for details. We are always looking for new articles, photos, product testers, etc.
PS I still miss Steve on Blues Clues! My son loves this video as well.
I love it! I know so many moms who love Steve...me included. I miss him being on Blues Clues and hope that he'll do more with kids. He's just so good with them.
Steve's all like...hard core. I saw it too and cracked up. I'm not sure I'm liking the ears though.
I LOVE IT!!! Steve looks great and is a pretty good musician too :-) I'm so glad to see him again. Me and the kids were bummed out when he left Blues Clues.
